Muffler Designs – Two Options, Both Done Right

This Kelpi system is engineered with two distinct muffler options, with each offering a distinct character to suit your aural and aesthetic preferences:

• Shorty Muffler – Our most popular choice, the Shorty features a CNC-machined alloy end cap and delivers a deep, thunderous exhaust tone. Perfect for those who love classic custom styling with bold acoustics. Four different volume options (no baffles; standard baffle only; end-cap baffle only; both baffles)

• Flanker Muffler – With its carbon fibre tip and stainless mesh grill, the Flanker is made for modernists. It produces a refined low burble that complements the aggressive lines of the XSR900. The Flanker is also available with a Quietcore baffle (please note that the Quietcore is no longer offered for Shorty systems), which reduced volume by ~3dB (or 30%) across the entire rev range. Please note that the Flanker muffler is NOT available in Cerakoted colours due to the carbon end-cap being non-removable. 

Both designs maintain a low-profile layout that integrates seamlessly with the bike’s silhouette. With the included dB killers in place, volume is moderated for road use, while removing them unlocks the system’s full, unfiltered character.

Performance Straight Out of the Box

• Designed to run perfectly on the stock ECU. Remove the baffle for more volume or pair with an aftermarket air filter and dyno tune for maximum gains. If running no baffle and aftermarket intake modifications, we recommend a tune to suit.

Euro 5+ Compatibility

Our CB(R)650R Shorty Exhaust System is available in two variants to suit both standard and Euro 5+ models.

If your bike is a Euro 5+ model, it will have two O₂ sensors connected to the factory exhaust. Please confirm your setup before ordering and select the correct variant from the dropdown.

How to check:
For 2024 models and onwards, look underneath your stock exhaust system, if you see two oxygen sensors threaded in, your bike requires the Euro 5+ compatible version. Most 2024+ CB/CBR models have two separate oxygen sensors. If yours has only one, select the standard version.
