TRIUMPH SCRAMBLER 1200 (2019+) SLIP-ON EXHAUST SYSTEM
The Triumph Scrambler 1200 is a machine built to go anywhere and look exceptional doing it. Long travel suspension, stunning modern classic proportions, a high-mounted shotgun exhaust, and a 1200cc parallel twin firing on a 270-degree crank, one of the meatiest and most characterful engine configurations in the industry. The factory exhaust suppresses it. Ours doesn't.
This is 18 months of development built specifically for the Scrambler 1200. The result is our most refined and modular slip-on to date: a long brushed stainless muffler with a Kelpi Shorty-inspired end-cap, nearly 3kg lighter than stock, and four distinct sound profiles per muffler.Â
Both mufflers ship with an end-cap baffle. Remove one, run both, or run no baffle, the combinations give you distinct configurations per muffler, all adjusted with simple hand-tools.
Our favourite: single end-cap baffle in. The 270° crank note doing exactly what it was always capable of, present, distinctive, and easy to live with every day. Check the sound video below.Â
Weight Reduction
Our slip-on sheds 2.73kg over the stock Scrambler 1200 system, dropping from 7.7kg factory to 4.97kg. That weight comes off the rear end and high on the bike, where it has the most meaningful impact on handling, power-to-weight ratio, and the way the bike responds through direction changes.
- TIG-welded 304 stainless steel throughout
- Brushed stainless finish, heat-stable, corrosion-resistant, and ages with the bike
- Multi-layer internals: perforated tube, steel mesh, fibreglass in a 304 stainless shell, built for the 1200 twin's 270° exhaust pulse
- Dual modular baffle system, end-cap baffles included with both mufflers.Â
- Kelpi Shorty-inspired end-cap profile in a longer format, purpose-built for the Scrambler 1200's high-mount position and proportions
Fitment & Installation
Sold as a complete kit, everything needed is in the box. Direct bolt-on to the factory mounting points; no modifications to the bike required, and works with the factory heat-shield. Installation typically takes under 45 minutes.Â
Two variants are available, select the correct one for your model year at checkout:
- 2019–2023: Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and XE
- 2024+: Updated Scrambler 1200 generation.
No ECU remap is required. Triumph's own adaptation process is recommended after fitting: run the bike for 12-15 minutes from a cold start with no throttle input and let it idle through. This allows the ECU to adapt to the new exhaust flow and optimise idle response, no specialist tools, no dealer visit.
